Hi, my name is Eileen and I am a longtime friend and neighbor of Becki Rosetti. I am setting up this fundraiser account to help her stay in her home for as long as possible. Please read below about her long struggle with cancer. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
Some of you may know, most of you don’t, that Becki Rosetti was first diagnosed with Stage 3 lung cancer in April 2017.
Treatment started with immunotherapy (Keytruda) in 2017 through 2019.
Chemotherapy through infusion (IV) followed in 2019 through 2021.
Oral chemo then began from 2021 through 2025.
Chest radiation started in November 2024 and she completed 33 treatments.
In February 2025 Becki had a PET Scan. When she asked the oncologist if there were any changes in her brain, he said that the PET Scan was from the base of the skull to the spine. The scan did not include the brain.
When she first started treatment in 2017 the oncologist told her that the first place that lung cancer spreads is to the brain. The only way to see if the are any changes to the brain is with an MRI. An MRI was not ordered until March 2025 at which time they found 22 tumors in her brain that were previously undiagnosed. Ten radiation treatments targeting the brain were ordered and completed at that time.
In May Becki was transported to the emergency room with severe stomach pain. She remained a patient for 8 days while they ran multiple tests. The hospital discharged her with the provision that she have 24/7 in-home health care. Becki is mentally, physically and emotionally exhausted and cannot take care of herself anymore. Her 24/7 in-home health care is not covered by any of her insurances. Any amount that you can donate would help her to continue to stay at home.
From personal experience, I know that Becki has been a thoughtful and generous friend to many of you over the years by sharing her delectable Italian meals and through her accomplished entertainment career.
