Help Bojohn Disciple through medical and financial hardship

Hello my friends and family,

I would hope that you all know me and my family well enough to know I would not ask if it was not 100% needed.

As some of you know, I have been a dancer for the majority of my life until I met the love of my life and wanted more.

One of the reasons I stopped dancing was because all my people around me were having knee and hip replacements in their late 20s to early 30s.

My wife and I knew we had a lot of love to share and wanted to have a kid, and surprise, we got twins. The most amazing people in our world. As I saw the people around me not able to play with their kids because their bodies were wrecked, I thought I got out in time…

Unfortunately, that was not the case.

On June 4th, I went into the walk-in clinic with serious pain and swelling in my knee. They immediately began to drain about a half gallon of fluid out of my knee! One knee, y’all! I was trippin’ but thought it would get better… wrong.

The next morning, I admitted myself to the ER because of unbearable pain and swelling. It was immediately drained again, but I was informed that it had gone septic and was infecting my blood.

Immediately, I was rushed to the ICU and early the next morning underwent a surgery where they cut a hole in one side of my knee and out the other so they could push gallons of water through my knee to hopefully flush the infected fluid and rust-colored blood out.

  • When I came to hours later, I was informed that as well as having a serious infection, I have serious arthritis for someone my age from dancing and that they also needed to put a stent in my arm that ran to my heart so I can continuously be pumped full of antibiotics.
  • A week later and I have finally come home but I have been gobsmacked, a.k.a. hit hard.
  • Friends, family, open ears, all loved ones, with an unsaid end in sight, I need help, y’all. With the bills piling up, gas money to go to Bellingham and back for day after day appointments, my two-year-old twins, and paying for their school, groceries, diapers, and just all of it, especially with my wife not able to work because she is a boss and is solo taking care of now three toddlers, I’m really worried about how far we are already falling behind financially.
  • I’m not a big social media person, especially asking for help like this, but I’m asking for whatever a person is willing to give, $1 to whatever, I would be thankful, or just pass this link onto someone else, I’m grateful.
  • Respect, appreciate, and love.

Thank you, Bojohn Disciple and family

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
