On Sunday, June 1st, Bradley Johnson’s life took an unexpected and devastating turn. While climbing a breadfruit tree in Jamaica to collect fruit for his small jerk chicken business, Bradley stepped on a weak branch that gave way beneath him. He fell from the tree and suffered serious injuries that landed him in the hospital.
Bradley has broken both his wrists and is currently wearing a neck brace. Doctors have indicated that he needs urgent spinal CT scans, an MRI, and ongoing medical treatment to assess the full extent of his injuries and begin his long road to recovery.
Bradley is not only a hardworking man but also a devoted father to his young son. He recently began building a small jerk food business to provide a better future for his family. What was supposed to be a simple act of gathering ingredients has now left him bedridden and in need of extensive care and support.
His family is doing everything they can, but the medical bills are growing fast. Bradley will need help covering the costs of scans, surgery (if required), physical therapy, and basic living expenses while he’s unable to work.
