Hi, my name is Brittany Howard. On July 15, 2026, I lost my partner, Wilbert, after a courageous battle with stage IV liver cancer. As his illness progressed, Wilbert lost his job and was unable to work, which made our financial situation even more difficult. I ended up leaving my own job to be fully hands-on with his care, supporting him through countless hospital visits, treatments, and ultimately hospice care. It was the hardest experience of my life, and my focus was entirely on being there for him every step of the way.
Now that Wilbert is gone, I am facing the overwhelming reality of starting over. Along with the emotional grief, I am trying to rebuild my life while dealing with unexpected financial hardships. I need help covering basic living expenses, transportation, and the costs of getting back on stable ground as I move forward. Donations will go toward housing and monthly living expenses, transportation and vehicle-related costs, daily necessities, bills, and other essential expenses while I work to regain financial stability.
