Hello I am Kim Montgomery. I am the daughter of Patty Simonetta. Patty was diagnose with stage 0 breast cancer almost 5 years ago. She had her surgeries to get the cancer removed. She was almost out of remission. On Sunday June 8, 2025 she went into the hospital for major back pain, she could barely walk, and couldn’t hold her bodily functions. A couple test later we all found out her cancer came back as back cancer, and broke two spots right now on her spine. On top of that she had a major stroke on her right side that completely damage her on her left. When they looked at the scans again she had small ones on her right side. They have a nurse, OT, and PT come in twice a week for four weeks until we see the cancer doctor to get more. My husband and I rushed down(since we live out of state) when we found out. We are starting to see all the bills lining up. We went to see if we can get her a back brace and that cost a pretty penny. She will be getting it with us putting up half of the amount down. But the medical bills are starting to come in and is becoming a lot. We do not know what stage she is in(will find out 6/23/25) but I will update this fundraiser page as infromation comes in. She is currently bed/wheelchair bound. She needs to have more things in her home to make her feel normal as much as we can right now. I am the main person coming down and taking her to appointments. This is a 5 hour trip on us. With helping her pay for cost for the bills and travel we are running out of our savings. We dont want to ask for money from her at all. So we got together and created this page, we can up the amount if needed but even just this we would appreciate. She does have a medical bed, wheelchair, walker and other things to help her with her bodily functions, this was giving to us by a donation place that helps out the community.
