My name is Caroline and I am raising funds for a very near and dear friend, who is lovingly referred to by many as “Crazy Mike”. Michael Wilson if we want to get official. I have now known Crazy Mike for over twenty years. I met Crazy Mike when we were counselors in training at Camp Kemo. Camp Kemo is a camp for children with cancer and blood disorders. Mike had previously been a camper when he was younger because he has fought cancer before and beat it. We know he can ninja his way out of this situation, but he just needs a little extra help. Mike is always up for anything if it makes someone smile and is all about entertaining others. He has been an incredible cheerleader for so many children over the years at Camp Kemo and now as an employee at Camp Cole.
Now is the time that Crazy Mike needs some cheering and support. This week Crazy Mike has learned that he has cancer again and will need to go through treatment. Mike’s appointments have been in Charleston, which is two hours away from his home and his family. The funds raised will help him to continue to focus on his treatment instead of focusing on fear and concern for how to make things happen on the financial front. Crazy Mike would dance a jig, show up as a ninja, or monkey just to make people smile. Can y’all help me by considering donating to a very special man who would do nearly anything for you if he could? Mike has a heart of gold and it would mean so much to him and his family if you could help ease his burden during this trying time. He is so very loved and we want nothing but to show up for him like he would show up for any one of his people.
