My name is Crystal. I am 33 years old.I have myocarditis from the flu and I have anomalous right coronary artery. I am constantly in the hospital and I’m unable to work. My medical bills are about $40,000 and I have to have open-heart surgery to fix my anomalous. I have tried to get disability, but was denied due to my age. I am currently in heart failure due to the myocarditis the bills don’t stop just because you are sick and I also have babies to take care of.I don’t like to ask for help and I have worked my whole life, but I feel that at this point I must ask because I’m in over my head. I will be having surgery soon and I will be in the hospital for three weeks if everything is successful, I’m nervous about the surgery, but it is my only option you can always ask questions. Anything helps.Heart conditions aren’t only for older people. We must bring awareness to these type of things for our younger generation. I was completely healthy and fine. Caught the flu and everything turned upside down so I am asking for some help because I don’t know what else to do. I am currently sitting in the hospital and have been here for a week now And will be here for at least three more weeks.
