Hello, my name is David Bankes, and I’m reaching out with a humble heart.
I’m a 72-year-old living with Parkinson’s disease and severe spinal stenosis. On top of these challenges, I am now in need of knee, shoulder, and lumbar spine surgeries to relieve pain and restore some mobility. Without these procedures, everyday tasks have become extremely difficult and painful.
I rely on a wheelchair and walker to get around. Just getting to medical appointments is a challenge, and the financial burden is growing. Transportation costs, copays, prescriptions, housing, and basic needs like food are piling up fast.
I never imagined I’d be in the position of asking for help, but I can’t do this alone. Every donation—no matter how small—goes directly toward covering these critical medical and living expenses. Your support can help me get the care I need and hold on to a better quality of life.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Whether you’re able to give or simply share this page, please know your kindness means more than I can express.
With deep gratitude,
David Bankes
