De’Angelo Powell is My nephew on 4/1/2024 Our family experience a tragedy. De’Angelo & Alicia Powell flew to Alabama same day to be alongside our family in the time of need.
On September 4, 2024, he left work and took himself to the hospital after feeling ill. They performed a series of tests, and he was then diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy and Leukemia. He started chemotherapy and is expected to have an extensive hospital stay.
On 2/7/2025 He underwent bone morrow transplant. On 6/19/2025 Cancer has resurfaced.
Deputy Powell is married and has a 2-year-old son. He has exhausted his accruals, which has added to their financial hardship. Donations will be used to cover unreimbursed medical bills and additional expenses.
