Help Donnie James Through His Medical Crisis

On February 5th of this year, my husband, 49-year-old Donnie James, woke up and went to work. By 11 am, something horrible happened. He was taken to the ER where they initially thought he’d had a stroke. After tests and CT scans, they quickly realized he had a large gumball tumor encased in many blood vessels in the right frontal lobe of his brain. Our lives STOPPED! After meeting with neurosurgeons, they gave us the news that it cannot be removed and the symptomatic stroke symptoms were just the beginning. He has lost nearly all sight in his left eye, his speech is impaired, he has short-term memory loss, seizures, weakness, and numbness on his left side and extremities, and he has to use a cane or walker to get around. And now it is also affecting his heart and lungs. He’s already had one procedure on his heart with another in the near future. Donnie has driven big rigs his entire life and created and manufactured Dead Stop Deer Products. Our future is unknown; we cherish each day as if it’s our last. But of course, financially we have taken a huge hit. We have gone through all our savings, and I’m doing my best, but I can’t keep up with copays, medication, medical bills, insurance premiums, food, and household bills. I’m drowning! I trust and believe God has a plan; I’m just not sure what that is right now. So I’m asking that if anyone feels in their heart to help, please do so. God always uses us to do His work, so here I am asking! We thank you in advance; we covet ALL prayers! Hold your loved ones tight, say the I love yous, take those pictures and videos, for one day that is all we will have. Thank you, a prayerful wife

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
