My name is Jennyfer Cenac. I’m 32 years old and have been living with a broken bone in my wrist since I was 15. It causes constant pain and limits how I use my hand. I’ve learned to live with it for years, but it hasn’t been easy.
I recently got a scholarship to study in the U.S., and now I finally have the chance to get the surgery I need. The untreated fracture has led to arthritis. The doctors plan to remove the broken bone and fuse the others to eliminate pain and improve movement.
