Help Give David a Tombstone

Sarah Johnson - Help Give David a Tombstone

David Wayne Phillhower II was my cousin, but he was more like a brother to me. He passed away at the age of 18, 18 years ago, because he didn’t get the right help. David was the happiest person I knewβ€”he could make anyone smile just by walking into a room. He was the best cousin I could have ever asked for, and I miss him every day.

When I visit his grave, it’s just grass, and it pains me that he still doesn’t have a tombstone. This year, May 1st, marked 18 years since he passed, and he was only 18 years old. I feel a calling to finally give him the marker he deserves, so his family and friends can visit and know exactly where he is. David was so full of life, and it’s a shame nobody got to see what he could have accomplished. I bet he would have been a comedianβ€”he was so funny and could light up any room.

The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing and installing a tombstone for David. If there are any additional costs, they will also be covered. He doesn’t need a huge one, but having a marker would mean so much to our family. My family would like help raising money for a tombstone that should have been there 18 years ago. We haven’t had the means to do so, and we’d be very grateful for any support. His nieces, nephews, cousins, mother, father, brothers, and sister deserve a place to visit him and know exactly where he is. Anything you could give would really help.
