My father, Dave Cooper, passed away suddenly in his sleep, leaving us heartbroken and unprepared for the costs that come with saying goodbye. Dave grew up in the Fairhaven area and was a true pillar of the community. He made countless connections and friendships throughout his life, always cherishing and nurturing those bonds. Dave was also a passionate supporter of the local metal scene, helping to shape Bellingham’s music community from the ground up. He was known as Bellingham’s number one, and his love for music brought people together in ways that only he could. As we navigate this loss, we want to honor Dave’s memory with a burial and a celebration of life that reflects the joy and warmth he brought to all of us.
