Help Honor Karen Rung’s Memory and Final Farewell

Dora Lewis - Help Honor Karen Rung’s Memory and Final Farewell

Karen Rung, a beloved mother, sister, and daughter, has always been a source of strength and warmth for her family. Earlier this year, Karen was diagnosed with melanoma that had spread to her lungs. Despite her courageous fight through chemotherapy and radiation, the cancer continued to progress, eventually reaching her brain. Now, Karen is in hospice care, and her family has been told that she likely has only a few days left with them. This heartbreaking news has left her loved ones not only grieving, but also facing the difficult reality of preparing for her final arrangements.

Karen did not have life insurance or the financial means to cover burial or cremation expenses. As her family prepares to say goodbye, they are seeking support to honor Karen’s memory and provide her with the dignified farewell she deserves. Donations will go directly toward covering these essential costs, ensuring that Karen’s life is celebrated with the love and respect she has always given to others.

If you feel led to help, any donation—no matter the amount—will be deeply appreciated by Karen’s family. If you are unable to donate, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and share this fundraiser with others. Your kindness, support, and compassion mean the world to them during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for helping to honor Karen’s legacy.
