My mom was diagnosed with rectal cancer in June 2025. She bravely went through 25 treatments and two rounds of chemotherapy, fighting as hard as she could. During this time, she was living in a nursing home, where I visited and supported her every step of the way. Sadly, the cancer never left her body, and she recently passed away. Losing her has been incredibly hard, and I am her only next of kin. I have been by her side throughout this journey, and now I am faced with the responsibility of honoring her memory and saying goodbye.
My mom did not have life insurance, and I receive SSI, which makes it very difficult to afford the costs of her cremation and the service that will be held in her honor. The funds raised will go directly toward covering these expenses, so I can give her the respectful farewell she deserves. Every bit of support will help ease the financial burden during this painful time.
