This is Leah, Ivy, and Jenna, Tom’s daughters. Our dad, Tom Woodbeck, passed away unexpectedly while living in Costa Rica. Tom was one of the kindest and most caring people you could ever meet—easygoing, hilarious, and always willing to lend a hand. He touched the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, as a loving father, brother, grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law, and friend. His loss has left an enormous hole in our hearts and in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. In the days that followed, we traveled to Costa Rica to make the necessary arrangements and bring closure to this difficult chapter.
Because everything happened so suddenly and outside of the country, we were faced with significant and unexpected expenses for travel, mortuary services, cremation and property expenses until we find a tenant. The financial burden has been overwhelming. We are reaching out in the hope of finding some relief during this incredibly difficult time. If you are able to contribute, no matter the amount, it would mean more to us than words can express.
