Help Ivan Get a Wheelchair Accessible Home

My husband Ivan and I were just married in July, but we’ve been together since 2018. A few months ago, Ivan was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, and our lives changed overnight. Ivan has lost the use of his legs and is in constant pain. The transition from being self-sufficient to relying on others for even the simplest tasks has been incredibly hard on him, both mentally and physically. It’s been heartbreaking to watch someone so strong and caring face these challenges, and it’s been a difficult journey for both of us as newlyweds.

Our home is not equipped for Ivan’s needs. He’s broken our front and back porches while emergency responders tried to help him in and out, and now we have no safe way to get him to the hospital. We urgently need a wheelchair-accessible home with an open floor plan, wider doorways, a ramp, and a bathroom that Ivan can use safely. On top of that, we’re facing mounting medical bills and ongoing expenses for his care. Every day is a struggle, but we’re determined to create a safe and supportive environment for Ivan so he can regain some independence and dignity.

We’re reaching out for help because we can’t do this alone. Your support will go directly toward making our home accessible and covering the overwhelming medical costs. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in Ivan’s life and help us move forward during this incredibly difficult time.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
