Help Jayme’s Dad Get a Life-Saving Transplant

Hi, my name is Jayme. I am trying to help raise money for my mom and dad. My dad was diagnosed with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). His mother had it and now he has it. It has progressed to cirrhosis of the liver.

In January 2025, my dad started getting an increase in fluid in his abdomen (ascites). He went into the ER 2 times to have a paracentesis (drain fluid from his abdomen). He now gets drained every 1.5 to every 2 weeks. He also has had 2 scopes called an EGD, where they check his varices, which are enlarged blood vessels in the esophagus. Those needed to be banded twice to prevent them from bursting and bleeding. He has had a total of 12 bands just this year.

In March of this year, he was told that he would require a liver transplant. That is now his only option to help him get better. On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, he has a meeting with a transplant doctor as well as the whole transplant team to assess him, run tests, and decide his placement on the transplant list. He is currently unable to work right now, and the medical bills and procedures being done are starting to pile up. Money and worrying about how my parents will pay for all of his past, present, and future medical bills isn’t something they need at this time in need. Please give whatever you can; anything would help!

Thank you!

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
