For the past year, my life has revolved around caring for my dad as he fought the hardest battle of his life. Watching someone you love slowly fade away is one of the most heartbreaking things I’ve ever experienced. Just two years ago, I lost my mother, and while I am grateful I was able to hold both of them as they passed, the pain and heartbreak are beyond words. There were long days, sleepless nights, tears, and moments where I felt completely helpless, but I wouldn’t trade a single second I had with him. Losing my dad has left a hole in my heart that words can’t describe, and now I find myself lost and scared, having to navigate life without both of my parents.
As I try to process this grief, I am also facing the reality of all the financial responsibilities now falling on my shoulders. My job for the past year was caring for my dad, so my financial situation is very difficult. I am reaching out for help to cover the cost of his cremation. If you are able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean more to me than I can ever express. If you can’t give financially, sharing this would help just as much. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness and support during this incredibly hard time.
