Hi everyone,
My name is Samantha, and I’m fundraising for my sweet dog, Levi.
Levi is a 1.5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart of gold and an endless love for playtime, cuddles, and everyone he meets. Unfortunately, Levi is currently hospitalized and undergoing emergency surgery for kidney stones.
It all began on Monday, June 9th, when I noticed Levi was struggling to urinate. Concerned, I brought him to his primary care vet on Tuesday, June 10th. X-rays and an ultrasound revealed kidney stones. We were advised to monitor him and head to the ER if his condition worsened.
By Wednesday, June 11th, Levi’s symptoms had escalated, and he was unable to urinate. We rushed him to the Veterinary Emergency Group, where he received pain medication, was re-ultrasounded, and had a catheter placed. From there, he was transferred to Tufts Small Animal Hospital for specialized care, where he remains hospitalized.
Today, June 12th, Levi is undergoing surgery to remove the stones and relieve his pain. We’re hopeful for a smooth recovery, but the cost of emergency visits, hospitalization, imaging, and surgery has already exceeded several thousand dollars.
Levi is more than just a pet — he’s family. If you’re able to contribute anything, no matter how small, it would mean the world to us. Every donation will go directly toward Levi’s medical expenses and his road to recovery.
Thank you so much for your support, love, and kindness during this incredibly difficult time.
With gratitude,
Samantha & Levi
