My name is Michelle, and I’m a mom of two—my oldest is 10 and my youngest just turned 1. I recently had to stop working to care for my baby, and it’s been a challenge to keep up with my monthly braces payments. I go to My Braces Place in Somerville, MA, where Dr. Rizkallah has been helping me on my journey to a healthier, more confident smile. Unfortunately, without steady income, I’m struggling to keep up with the payments, and I worry about being stuck with my braces indefinitely if I fall behind.
Growing up, I always wanted to fix my smile because of teeth crowding, but I was denied treatment as a child. In my state, insurance only covers braces up to age 21, and I’m now 28. Getting braces was a big step for me, and it’s made a huge difference in my confidence and well-being. However, balancing my kids’ needs and my own health has been tough since I stopped working. I’m reaching out for help so I can continue my treatment and eventually have the smile I’ve always hoped for.
Any support will go directly toward my orthodontic payments, helping me finish my treatment and move forward with confidence. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can offer.
