Hi everyone,
It is with a heavy heart that we reach out to anyone and everyone that is willing to hear our words and share our request.
Our mum—the most loving, selfless, and caring woman anyone could ever meet—has been diagnosed with Stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma. This is an aggressive and fast-moving form of breast cancer. This devastating diagnosis has truly turned our world upside down, but more importantly, her’s. The journey she faces ahead will be long, painful, and filled with uncertainty. With that said, we are asking for your help… for everyone’s help. To donate to someone that truly is in
need.
Why We’re Asking for Help
As my sisters and I have already lost one parent to cancer. The thought of losing our mother too is almost too much to bear. She is our support system, our best friend, our everything. She is our Mum, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. How could we not do anything and everything in our power to give her a fighting chance and to absolutely prevent our mother from becoming another statistic. The cost of starting her treatment was very overwhelming to hear. The initial cost
for chemotherapy and radiation—which includes 12 cycles,1 cycle being 4days of infusions w/3days off, each cycle costing $3,500, wowza. This does not include outside medications, facility charges, or basic living expenses. Because of this, we must humbly set our fundraising goal at $6,500, just to help lift the immediate financial burden as she begins the fight of her life….
How Your Donation Helps
All funds raised will go directly toward:
Chemotherapy and radiation treatment
Prescription medications
Medical facility costs
Housing and living expenses during treatment
About Our Mom
In a time where things have become so uncertain in our world, our mom has always shown up for others—giving, helping, and loving without hesitation. For those of you that do know our mom, know that she would never ask for help herself, but we, her children, can not stay silent. She deserves more time, more memories, more love, and the life she dreamed of building with the love of her life, whom she found
just a few years ago. We are begging, not just asking—because this world, in these crazy times, need more of her and to us, she is worth it!!!!
If You Can Help
We understand times are financially difficult for so many. If you’re able to give, no amount is too small. And if you’re not in a position to donate, please share this page and keep our mom in your prayers. We believe deeply in the power of prayer and community. God hears our prayers, every one of them… From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for caring. Thank you for donating to an amazing person.
Thank you for helping us fight for her, and Thank you for helping her fight for her life..
With love and endless gratitude,
The Cadwalader Ladies
