I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart to ask for help supporting my incredible mother. She is currently facing not just one, but multiple devastating health battles: advanced dementia, Alzheimer’s, and now, breast cancer.
Watching someone you love slowly lose their memory is heartbreaking. Now, on top of her cognitive decline, my mother is undergoing treatment for breast cancer — a diagnosis that has added more emotional and financial strain to an already difficult journey.
She requires constant care, medications, special transportation, and ongoing doctor visits. These costs are quickly adding up, and unfortunately, insurance doesn’t cover everything. As her family, we are doing everything we can, but we need help.
