My name is Uwagbale Ebare, and I am writing with deep humility and hope in my heart.
My mother has been diagnosed with dementia, a progressive illness that is robbing her of her memory, independence, and sense of self. Witnessing her decline has been emotionally and physically draining for our family.
After researching and consulting with healthcare professionals, I have found that relocating to the United Kingdom offers the best chance for my mother to receive the specialized dementia care she urgently needs. Unfortunately, the medical infrastructure and support services available in our current location are not sufficient to provide the level of care she requires.
I am now seeking public support to help raise the funds needed for:
• Her medical evaluation and long-term treatment in the UK
• Travel and relocation costs for both of us
• Caregiver support and temporary housing during treatment
