On August 8th, 2024, my sister’s life was forever changed. She was in a devastating car accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down. Doctors believe a heart condition may have triggered the crash, leading to life-altering injuries.

Now, she’s facing an overwhelming uphill battle.

• Permanently paralyzed from the waist down

• No income — still waiting for disability income

• Living with our parents in a home that’s not wheelchair accessible

• Running low on vital medical and hygiene supplies (Missouri HealthNet is limited in benefits)

• Struggling daily just to maintain basic needs
