Help My Son Walk Again After Achilles Surgery
Hi, my name is Amber and I’m reaching out with a heavy but hopeful heart. My 10-year-old son is living with cerebral palsy and recently underwent Achilles tendon surgery to help him walk better and live with less pain. Unfortunately, since his surgery on March 20, he’s been wheelchair-bound, and we’ve seen little to no progress in his recovery.
He’s been attending physical therapy twice a week, but despite our commitment, we’re not seeing the improvement we were hoping for. I’ve been advised to try a different physical therapist who specializes in post-op care for children with cerebral palsy. This specialist comes highly recommended, but sadly, they are not covered by our insurance and would require us to pay entirely out of pocket.
I just want to give my son the best chance to regain his mobility and independence — something every child deserves. Any amount you can give will go directly toward his physical therapy sessions and support services needed to get him back on his feet.
If you’re unable to donate, we completely understand — even sharing this page with others who might be able to help means the world to us.
Thank you so much for your love, support, and prayers.
With gratitude,
Amber Tremblay
