My wife has been diabetic for 30+ years. This year (2025), she had complications with blood circulation in both feet. It went on to the extent of her right leg being amputated above the knee. The surgeon says she still has an infection even after the surgery, but so far it’s looking stable. She wanted to get a job way before the surgery to help out the home financially. I declined because that’s my obligation. She will be very shattered and heartbroken waking up to find out her leg is gone.
