My name is Ashley White. I am reaching out during one of the most difficult times my family has ever faced.
My child’s father is battling advanced heart failure, with only 20% of his heart functioning. He is currently being evaluated to determine if he qualifies for a life-saving LVAD device or a full heart transplant.
As he is no longer able to work, I am doing my best to balance overnight shifts with his daytime care, while managing our home and all financial responsibilities alone. On top of medical bills and travel, we recently had a major setback when my car broke down during one of our hospital trips. The necessary repairs are estimated at $6,300, and transportation is critical for getting him to medical appointments, evaluations, and treatment.
I am humbly asking for help to cover car repairs and a few months of basic living expenses (rent, utilities, food, transportation) while we navigate this overwhelming medical journey.
Our fundraising goal is simply to keep us afloat and prevent us from falling behind while I continue to work and care for my family. Any amount of help is deeply appreciated and will go directly toward documented living and transportation needs.
