Our 7 year old daughter Ella has been diagnosed with paediatric neurovascular compression syndrome PNCS. A rare condition affecting the nerves and blood vessels at the base of her brain. While we’re incredibly grateful that her life-saving treatment is covered by the NHS, there are still critical needs we simply can’t meet without help.
Ella will soon face a series of intensive hospital stays and rehabilitation that will impact our daily life dramatically. I’ve had to stop working which is hard enough being self employed and my husband was already out of work as he is a full time carer for his mother.
She now uses a wheelchair part-time, and our current family car is not accessible. We are raising £13,000 to buy a wheelchair accessible car for her, and an electric bed.
Ella is the kindest and most resilient little girl who loves to bake. This journey has been difficult so far, and it’s not over yet, but she faces it with strength that amazes us every day. We want to give her the mobility and comfort she needs to keep being the little girl that she is. At the moment most her time is spent watching peppa pig as she can’t go to school.
Thank you for taking the time to read about Ella, every single donation and share is so gratefully appreciated.
