We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your support for our beloved housekeeper and friend, Pam, whose husband is currently fighting for his life. When the call comes, Pam and her husband must be ready to travel immediately for the transplant. This sudden diagnosis has turned their family’s world upside down. As we know, the emotional toll has been overwhelming for our beloved Pam—but so is the financial burden that awaits her and her family.
We ask for your support in assisting Pam with skyrocketing medical expenses, travel costs, and day-to-day living needs, as she will be taking on the burden of these hardships, while also caring for their young child, who will be starting the new school year here in Hawai’i, while his father is in California awaiting a new heart.
This sudden diagnosis means Pam will be out of work for at least six months. She will need to travel back and forth between Hawaii and California—to be by her husband’s bedside, and to make sure her child is supported and safe back home.
