Help Patrick Fight Stage 4 Kidney Disease

I am starting this page to raise money and awareness for Patrick Tyson who was recently diagnosed with IgA nephropathy, also known as Berger’s disease, or synpharyngitic glomerulonephritis. IgA is a disease of the kidney and the immune system; specifically it is a form of glomerulonephritis or an inflammation of the glomeruli of the kidney. Unfortunately, Patrick’s disease wasn’t discovered until November of 2024 when the disease had already damaged his kidneys to the point they were only functioning g at 20% capacity which is considered stage 4 chronic kidney disease.

Over the last 6 months Patrick has gone through several appointments and procedures where it has been determined that his best treatment option will be a kidney transplant. He has begun the steps to be eligible for both living and deceased donor transplant, all while trying to continue working and supporting himself and children.

Although Patrick and his family have begun the process of selling their home to help cover expenses, the medical costs and lost wages are significant. We are asking for help from our community, and anyone who may have means to contribute, to help support Patrick’s fight to get a new kidney.

We also want to spread the word that anyone interested in organ donation can learn more or register to be a donor at

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
