My name is Victoria Wagner, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my beloved 7-year-old dog, Percy. Recently, Percy was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease)—a painful and often debilitating spinal condition. Since the diagnosis, he has completely lost his ability to walk, and we’re in a critical window to determine the next steps for his care.
Percy has been by my side since he was just 5 weeks old, and he’s already overcome one major battle—surviving a cancerous tumor as a young dog. He’s a fighter, a snuggler, a goofball, and my absolute best friend. Watching his vibrant personality dim because of IVDD is truly heartbreaking.
His veterinary team now recommends an urgent MRI, which will help us understand if he:
* Needs surgery to relieve spinal pressure,
* Requires a medication adjustment, or
* Is facing something even scarier, like cancer recurrence.
This MRI is estimated at $5,000, not including the vet visits, diagnostics, and treatments already underway.
