Dear friends and family,
I have an urgent and heartfelt request tonight.
One of my close friends, Rachel, is going through an incredibly difficult time. Her mom has suffered multiple strokes in the past years, and I mean multiple; now she requires full-time care and up until recently, her dad — Rachel’s father — was her sole caregiver. But now, he’s facing his own health battle after undergoing shoulder surgery and is no longer able to provide the care they both need.
Their resources are extremely limited, and insurance is not covering the cost of home care. We are desperately looking for any support — whether it’s a donation to help hire an aide, or connecting us with someone who is affordable or willing to volunteer their time.
