Hi, My name is Samyy,
An international student studying Master of Social Work at Western Sydney University. Like many others, I came to Australia full of dreams some I’ve achieved, and others I’m still chasing.
But everything changed in February 2025 when I was diagnosed with a pituitary tumour (Oligomenorrhoea secondary to pituitary macroadenoma). It was something I never expected, and it has turned my life upside down.
Since then, I’ve faced endless medical tests, surgeon, specialist appointments, and overwhelming emotional and financial stress. Now, I urgently need surgery, and the cost including recovery and long-term hormone treatment is around $50,000 AUD.
As an international student away from home, this is something I simply cannot manage alone.
I’m reaching out for help not just for funds, but for your hope and blessing. Any support, no matter how small, brings me closer to recovery and a second chance at life.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your kindness.
