Growing up, I worked in an environment where I was exposed to toxic chemicals—substances now banned for being too dangerous. This exposure has had lasting effects on my health, especially as someone with autism. My dental health has suffered significantly, and I’m now facing serious dental issues that could become life-threatening if left untreated. Without this care, my health is at serious risk. While I’ve managed to cover some costs through insurance and personal funds, I can’t afford the full treatment I need to stay healthy for Maggie and our pets.
Recently, my car was vandalized and stolen, leaving me without reliable transportation. I’ve been biking over 60 miles a trip, three times a week, just to get groceries and supplies for my family and animals. We are struggling with hunger because I can’t keep up with these trips much longer. I have 25 kilowatts of solar panels at home, so a modest, reliable electric vehicle like a Nissan Leaf would mean free trips to the store, dentist, and anywhere else we need to go. Your support will help me get the dental care I need—which could save my life—and a vehicle to keep our family safe and healthy. Any help, no matter the size, would make a real difference for us right now.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any generosity you can offer.
