This is Skye she is the sweetest puppy I’ve ever met. We’ve had her for going on 3 years now. She’s our old man Storm’s best friend. This is mostly about Skye, but Unfortunately both of our fur babies aren’t doing great. Storm (the smaller black dog) is about 10 years old he hasn’t been seen by a vet because our family can’t afford extra care on top of the rest of life, we’ve been trying to just keep a close eye and make sure he is still enjoying his life but he’s got lumps all over his body, my sister who’s an aspiring vet says she thinks it’s progressed cancer tumors so we try to keep an open mind and just hope he continues to live a long happy life until he’s ready to pass peacefully. Skye (our big brown baby) was hit by a car today after escaping our yard without our knowledge someone was driving so fast down the road they couldn’t stop before hitting her and breaking their bumper off their car. Our Skye baby of course needed emergency medical attention to ensure her health and well being. Upon bringing her to the vet we found she has a partially collapsed lung, contusions on her lungs, some open wounds on the side of her body and her face, she’ll have to be on oxygen for at least 2 days. We are hoping for her to have a smooth recovery but all of this care of course requires money and even with my whole family pitching in to care for our baby we don’t have enough to cover such a costly emergency. So I’m asking any of my pet and dog lovers to help us save our sweet princess. We are grateful for any and everything you have to offer ❤️
