Since the age of 4, Stanley Sherman knew that his condition would catch up with him, and ultimately the time has come.
Stanley served the Manitou Beach and Onsted area in Manufacturing Engineering. Stan was never a stranger to hard work and loved to hunt and fish every weekend, even being a frequent at 3 Bar B Rodeo.
Stanley was diagnosed at 4 with a rare disease called CMT (Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease). Stan was able to live decently independently until recently. Stan now requires full assistance and is now bed-bound.
After 23 hospital stays within the last 2 years, Stanley requires full care and stays in bed full time. With his new state, he will need assistance from caregivers.
Due to him working in his younger years, the State of Michigan refuses to give him assistance due to the amount he made at one time. He now out of pocket pays for care.
We are asking for any additional funds to support his health and push towards gaining 24/7 care. He currently stays at home with caregivers that assist him.
If you cannot chip in, we ask you just share. Anything helps.
God Bless!!
