Help Support Ivan from the Keolu Market

If you’ve ever stopped by the Keolu Market, chances are you’ve been greeted by Ivan — a kind and familiar face in our community. He’s the one who keeps things running, no matter what’s happening. Through every chaotic moment — whether it’s a commotion outside of his place of business or someone trying to run off without paying, Ivan has shown up, day after day, with patience and heart. He always cares for each and every one of his customers.

What many don’t know is that Ivan has been quietly battling some serious health challenges. Recently, he was diagnosed with Bell’s Palsy, and on top of that, he’s been facing a long-term fight with cancer. Despite everything, he still shows up to work, still greets every customer, and still helps hold a small part of our community together.

Ivan would never ask for help himself — he’s a private, humble man — but I believe many of us would jump at the chance to give back. The goal of this fundraiser is simple: to help ease the burden of medical bills and give Ivan the space to focus on healing, without the added stress of finances.

If you’ve ever been helped by Ivan, had a good conversation with him, or just appreciate the comfort of seeing a familiar face behind the counter, please consider pitching in. Any amount — big or small — is deeply appreciated.

Let’s show Ivan that this community sees him, values him, and is here for him.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
