Help us raise money for a powered wheelchair.

As most of you know, recently Adam suffered a severe stroke.

His stroke is classified as a right MCA (Middle Cerebral Artery) infarct. Which is a stroke affecting the right side of the brain’s middle cerebral artery, impacting the left side of the body.

While Adam looks well in himself, it has left him with significant weakness in his left leg, meaning he can’t walk unaided at all and can only walk very very short distances with a walking aid and another person close by.

He has no movement at all in his left arm, meaning it’s impossible for him to use a self propelling wheelchair.

He has a long road of physiotherapy ahead to strengthen his leg and attempt to mobilise his arm.

Inthe meantime, he’s confined to the house unless there is something to take him out and has lost all independence.

We are trying to fundraise for him to have a powered wheelchair so he can have some form of normality in his life and be able to go out independently.

Unfortunately, with Adam off work for the forcible future, we’re not in a financial position to be able to buy him a powered chair ourselves, and because I work, we aren’t entitled to any financial help.

If anyone can donate anything at all even £1 to help us it would be so so appreciated to help us get a powered chair and other medical equipment/ adaptations such as wheelchair ramps etc and to help support us while we navigate this difficult time.

Help us raise money for a powered wheelchair.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
