Hello, my name is Veronica. I’m seeking assistance from the community during a difficult time. After a successful career, I’ve been dealing with physical and mental disabilities for the past three years. I never expected to be impacted so swiftly, and I’m currently facing challenges that I’m working hard to navigate. A hit-and-run accident has added a significant financial burden, as well as a mishap from a mechanic who didn’t correctly repair my front brakes.
My situation:
I’ve been on disability for three years, facing daily challenges. I don’t have a family to reach out to. I’ve exhausted all of my retirement and savings funds. I’ve maxed out all my credit cards, including CareCredit for my pet to make ends meet. The financial strain makes it hard to afford necessary medical treatments for myself and my pet, who is also ill. The stress from my financial situation is all-consuming. The car accident has worsened the situation. The vehicle was hit, and a crucial bolt is missing from the brakes, which is a safety issue.
I don’t have the money for car repairs. This lack of transportation makes it difficult to attend medical appointments and get medication. The financial strain prevents me from getting the medical attention needed for my disabilities and my pet’s health.
The goal is to address these immediate needs. Relieving some of the stress and getting my head above water will allow me to focus on what’s important right now: getting well, giving my cat her basic needs and the treatment that she deserves, and working toward a brighter future.
Donations will be used to:
Repair the car, covering body damage from the hit-and-run and replacing the front brakes.
Cover medical expenses for myself and Bug, my pet, and help with basic living expenses during this critical time.
How You Can Help:
Any support will make a difference. Financial contributions are welcome. Sharing this campaign is also helpful.
If you would like more details on my situation, I will be happy to share more information one-on-one.
Thank you!
Veronica and Bug
