Hello,
I had a total left knee replacement 2 years ago, and it has been a painful recuperation with complications (nerve damage and severe scar tissue). I went on medical leave on 05/05/25 due to the fact that I was in excruciating pain and unable to walk without a walker. I submitted a short-term disability claim, and after all the documentation they requested, my claim was denied due to the doctor’s notes having erroneous facts. I am appealing their decision.
I will be out of a roof over my head and will lose everything I worked for. My savings are exhausted at this point. Please help me in my time of need. My left knee flares up to the point I cannot walk properly and am in extreme pain. I have been going to pain management and had 2 rounds of genicular nerve blockers with no relief. I never have asked for help, but things are getting critical. I am still homebound, unable to drive, and need to return to work by 07/10/25 or I will be terminated since my FMLA will no longer protect my job. This is a sincere request, whatever you contribute.
Thank you,
Xavier
