In Loving Memory of Barbara Jean Blake
Our hearts are broken beyond words. I’m (Sylvia Harris) doing a ‘fundraiser’ for my aunt, any little thing will help ! We are in need at this time; her husband is unable to work due to having 2 massive strokes in the past 5 weeks !
Barbara Jean Blake of Plain Dealing, best known as ‘BJ’ . She was a beloved wife, daughter, aunt, granddaughter , sister,
and friend. Her life touched so many people. Her smile, kind heart, and love for others left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her.
After an extensive help with Saint Joseph’s Hospice and family helping out, our worst fears became reality.
While no words can ease the pain of this loss, we are deeply grateful for every person who came in contact with her and stood beside our family during these difficult days.
As we begin the painful journey of laying Barbara to rest, we are asking for help to ease the financial burden placed on our family. Funds raised will be used for funeral and memorial expenses, celebration of life services, and any additional costs associated with honoring Barbara’s memory.
