Hi, my name is David Price, and I’m reaching out after suffering a serious injury just a few days ago — on Friday the 13th.
That day, a large piece of glass shattered and cut through my upper arm, slicing my bicep down to the bone. I’m extremely fortunate for my 2 neighbors could hear me screaming called 911 and were able to put a tourniquet on and saved my life. The injury was severe, and I needed emergency medical care. While I’m grateful to be alive and can do basic tasks like feed myself and getting dressed, I’ve lost the use of one arm — and that means I can’t work. I had 1 surgery on friday and just got out of another to fix my nerves (Happy fathers day to me)
This has left me in a really tough position. I have no income right now, and bills are piling up. I’m trying to stay focused on healing, but the financial pressure is making recovery even harder. To top it off I had fraud on my bank card that my insurance was getting auto deducted from and didn’t catch that until finding out in the hospital that my insurance has lapsed.
I’m asking for your help to get through this challenging time. Donations will go toward:
Rent and utility bills
Medical costs and follow-up appointments
Transportation for medical care
Anything you can give — even a small amount — would mean a lot. And if you can’t donate, sharing this page with others would be just as valuable.
If you would like to donate in a different way please reach out to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and thank you for any support you can offer — it truly means the world to me.
With appreciation,
David Price
