Hi, my name is Lori, aunt to Jordan, my sister’s daughter.
I’m raising funds to help with Jordan’s journey through her cancer diagnosis she received earlier today. She has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and will be receiving chemotherapy for an expected 5-6 months.
It’s very important to me that she has the support and company of her Mom, my sister, Michelle, through this medical maze she’s about to be subjected to. She’s young, only 16 years old, and obviously is feeling anxious and afraid.
I know her infectious smile, sense of humour and trucker mouth will help her advocate for herself and get her through the hard days.
These funds will allow Michelle to remain bedside with her daughter, Jordan, during her chemotherapy treatments and subsequent appointments and diagnostics. As well, it will help subsidize her income, pay for parking and meals while they are at the hospital.
She has already had countless ER visits, Dr appt’s and a biopsy that would be overwhelming to an adult.
If you are of faith I’d ask you to lift her up in prayer please and pray for strength for Michelle as she is still recovering from her own colon cancer surgeries.
I THANK YOU for any and all donations to help my family.
