Miles was born with Spina Bifida (Myelomeningocele) — a severe form of a neural tube defect where the spinal cord doesn’t form properly, leaving part of it exposed. He also faces hydrocephalus, which causes fluid buildup in the brain, requiring a shunt to relieve pressure. In addition, Miles was born with bilateral club feet, a condition that twists the feet inward and downward, making mobility even more challenging.
Despite these diagnoses, Miles is full of determination, love, and joy. But his path forward requires more than just courage — he needs access to intensive therapy.
Why therapy matters:
Intensive therapy gives Miles the chance to build strength, improve motor skills, and work toward greater independence — including the incredible goal of learning to walk. These sessions combine physical, occupational, and sometimes speech therapy in a focused, daily setting. They are absolutely essential, but unfortunately, not fully covered by insurance.
We’re asking for your help to give Miles the best possible chance at a brighter, more mobile future. Every donation, share, and word of support makes a difference.
Thank you for standing with Miles on this journey.
