Hello, this is Michelle, Danny’s wife. Some of you may or may not know, Danny suffered a stroke on June 6, 2024. While he was at work, it was 9 hours before he realized what had happened. Because of the time, he was not able to get the medication they use for a stroke in the first few hours.
As many of you know, Danny is a very hard worker and has been working as a mechanic for over 25 years. Since the stroke, Danny has had to take some time off from time to time. A few months after the stroke, we had another trip to the ER where they found a blood clot in his right leg. Then from there, he had a few wounds from the diabetes that needed wound care treatment daily.
On May 30th, we found ourselves back again at the ER where they discovered a wound on his 4th toe that had not healed, and at which time they knew they were not able to save it. His 4th toe was amputated on June 1st. Danny will be out of work for the next few weeks with no sick or vacation time available. Asking if you can please lend a helping hand; anything will help, which will go to medications, bills, and doctor visits. We appreciate all our family and friends.
