Hi, my name is Ashleigh and I am starting this fundraiser on behalf of our close friend’s and their 2 year old son, Liam.
Sweet, joyful, and full of life — 2-year-old Liam is a light to everyone who knows him. Recently, that light was dimmed when he experienced a devastating accident at daycare, leaving him in a coma.
By some miracle, Liam is now awake, but the road ahead is long and uncertain with surgeries and physiotherapy in his future.
His parents, Dillon and Erin, have been by his side every single moment. They’ve stepped away from work and put their lives on pause to care for Liam. To add to the emotional and physical toll, Liam’s mom is 39 weeks pregnant. They are navigating fear, heartbreak, and hope while also preparing to welcome a new baby into the world.
We’re creating this fundraiser to help ease even a small part of the burden. Donations will go directly to the family; for meals, hospital costs, lost income, and anything else they need in this time of crisis and recovery.
