Meet Oliver – A Little Fighter With a Big Heart
Hi, my name is Oliver.
I’m just 1 and a half years old, and I’ve already been through more than most adults. I was born with hydrocephalus, a condition where fluid builds up in the brain. Before I was even 2 months old, I had two brain surgeries to place a special valve (called a shunt) to help drain that fluid from my head to my belly.
At 9 months old, I had my first open-heart surgery. My heart was strong, but it needed help. Doctors performed four different procedures to open up space in my arteries so my heart could work better.
More recently, I had a surgery called Gastrostomy (GTT)—now I get my food directly through a small tube in my belly, since I still can’t eat by mouth.

I’m Still Growing, Still Fighting.
I’m taking a little longer to develop—I can’t sit up on my own yet, and my hands are still learning how to open and move. I need lots of therapy: physical therapy to strengthen my body, speech therapy to help me one day eat and communicate, and occupational therapy to explore the world around me.
But I’m not giving up. I’m a fighter.
And I’m surrounded by so much love.

Why I Need Your Help
My family is doing everything they can to help me grow stronger, especially my mom—she has her own health struggles, including diabetes, but she gives me her all every single day. We want to give me the best chance at becoming independent one day, but therapy, medical equipment, and transportation are expensive, and we can’t afford it all on our own.
That’s why we’re reaching out.
If you can support us—whether by donating, sharing my story, or simply sending love—it means the world to us.

Love, Oliver
