Hi, I’m Margie — a faith-filled mom on a journey of healing, hope, and mobility. For the past couple years, I’ve been documenting my weight loss and health journey publicly, sharing the ups, the downs, and the breakthroughs. Despite daily pain, lymphedema that makes my legs feel like cement, and bone-on-bone arthritis in both knees, I keep going. Why? Because I believe God has a plan for me — and I’m not giving up.
This summer, I’m chasing two big dreams:
✨ 1. To get to the Iowa State Fair to see Forrest Frank, a worship artist who is my daughters favorite Christian Artist and has deeply inspired my faith and perseverance.
2. To finally get a heavy-duty mobility scooter so I can move freely, enjoy summer with my daughter Nevaeh, and reclaim moments we’ve missed after being stuck at home for the past few years.

Our Virtual Candy Land Walk
To make this journey fun and interactive, I created a Candy Land–style virtual walk to the Iowa State Fair — with silly milestones, pie-in-the-face challenges, and reward squares along the way. You can even sponsor a mile to help us move forward — every mile brings us closer to freedom and joy!

About the Scooter
The mobility scooter I’m raising funds for is a top-tier model with a 600-lb weight capacity, a 100-mile travel range, and a top speed of 13 mph — designed for real independence and comfort. It will allow me to go to the park, attend church again, do errands with confidence, and most importantly — create memories this summer with Nevaeh.
