We’re reaching out to ask for your support for a local family going through an incredibly difficult time. Just recently, Nina suffered the devastating and unexpected loss of her husband, Mike. He was a loving husband, a dedicated father to his two children Samantha and Nicholas, and a cherished friend to many. His sudden passing has left Nina to care for their two children on her own, while navigating the emotional and financial challenges that come with such a heartbreaking loss.
While the family has been trying to navigate a new normal without their husband and dad, their world was shaken again. On June 8th, just three weeks before his high school graduation, Nina’s son Nick was involved in a serious car accident. What should have been an exciting and celebratory time has now become a period of added stress, worry, and financial strain. As Nick recovers from his injuries, the mounting medical bills—on top of funeral expenses and everyday living costs—have become overwhelming for the Toscano family.
We are rallying together as a community to lift this family up during their time of need.
